Unlike conventional assembly methods, the Chock side table features a wedged through-tenon that elegantly secures the top to the base, eliminating the need for screws, nails, or glue.

This enhances the table's structural integrity and also evokes a sense of tranquility and playfulness. 

The top connects to the base, not at the centre, but slightly offset. This creates tension and plays with your perception of balance.
